AMD 5600X Reviews
Runs hot but fast
This thing is sweet, but I was touching 94.5C every time I ran games for more than 30 mins or so with the stock AMD CPU cooler. Noctua NH-U12S seems to be making a big (20C) difference so far. For the price it's rad, and AMD engineers have confirmed that these things are designed to run hot, so it's probably not a huge deal either way- but definitely consider a better than stock cooler for this bad boy.
Perfect for my pc build
Work just as good as I expected. Perfect for my first pc build, didn't have any problems installing and works like a dream.
Great CPU
Works like it should.
A great upgrade to an aging rig!
So after rocking the 3300X for a while, decided to upgrade to this widely loved CPU whilst I wait for AM5 prices to go down a bit. Absolutely great in every way for a budget build.
Perfect!
