Sporting improved focusing, recording, and sharing capabilities, the M50 Mark II still revolves around the proven 24.1MP APS-C CMOS sensor and DIGIC 8 image processor, which enable a quick 10 fps shooting rate, a native sensitivity range of ISO 100-25600, and UHD 4K video recording at 23.98 fps, along with Full HD 1080p60 and HD 720p120 for slow motion capture. Does anyone have a solution for accessing the bottom card/battery compartment without having to remove the cam off of the tripod every time? Is there a stud or post that would "elevate" it off of the surface of the head?
Asked by: Duane CA
Yes, Alzo makes one, BH sells it, they work great, I bought them for all 30 of my classroom set of M50s Links aren't allowed here, just search on ALZO Liberator Battery Door Clearance Plate for Canon M50 and you'll find them on the BH site.

Does Canon has mirrorless alternative to 80D? I'm asking mainly about video because M50 or M50 ii doesn't offer high bitrate for videos - only 60 Mb/s when 80D did 90Mb/s.
Asked by: Sergey
The alternative would be the Canon M6II which is 120 Mbps bit rate. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1502493-REG/canon_3611c011_eos_m6_mark_ii.html
