Nikon 4256 Overview

An efficient bundle for wireless camera and flash triggering, the WR-R11b/WR-T10 Remote Controller Set includes both the WR-T10 Wireless Remote Controller and the WR-R11b Remote Controller for cameras featuring an accessory terminal.

Nikon WR-R11b Remote Controller

Designed for use with Nikon cameras featuring an accessory terminal, the WR-R11b Remote Controller can be used to wirelessly trigger the camera's shutter when paired with the separate WR-T10 or WR-1 Wireless Remote Controller. It can also be used to trigger select radio-enabled flash units or as a master to trigger up to 64 transceiver units. Additionally, suiting its use in busier environments, three selectable radio frequencies are available for reliable use.

Nikon WR-T10 Wireless Remote Controller Transmitter

Nikon's WR-T10 Wireless Remote Controller Transmitter is a remote control transmitter designed to work with the Nikon WR-R10 Wireless Remote Controller transceiver (available separately): together, they control the shutter release on Nikon DSLR cameras wirelessly. The WR-T10/WR-R10 units use radio frequencies to communicate--you can trigger any number of Nikon DSLR cameras equipped with WR-R10 units, using one WR-T10 controller.

The WR-T10 can control the shutter on an unlimited number of cameras with a paired WR-R10 unit attached.
Three radio frequency channels are available for use, to prevent interference when multiple pairings or photographers are shooting in one location.
Useful for triggering the shutter remotely when using slower shutter speeds, to prevent camera movement.
Range from the WR-T10 to WR-R10s is 66 feet (20 meters).

Finally ordered this to replace my Vello, which is a very good remote, but wired from the camera to the receiver. This does away with the wire, and gives back button focus via the Fn button. It's a winner.

Does not work with Nikon corded GPS

This unit works properly when plugged directly into the accessory port of a D3200. However, it does not pair or function when plugged into the accessory port of a Nikon GPS, which is then connected to the camera via a 10 pin connector. This is surprising, because the corded remote release does work in this configuration.

Intuitive, functional, and solid design. I'm using this with my Z7ii and it works without failure.
