Enjoy your video games and multimedia and streaming content on a big screen with the BenQ TK850i HDR XPR 4K UHD Home Theater Projector. It includes a wireless adapter with the Android TV operating system onboard, providing access to thousands of apps like Amazon Prime Video. The included wireless adapter also has the Google Assistant and Chromecast built-in to enable voice search, hands-free control, and wireless casting from your compatible device.

The TK850i uses XPR technology to project 4K UHD resolution onto the screen with compatible content and features HDR10 and HLG compatibility to produce a wide color gamut for vivid colors. It outputs up to 3000 ANSI lumens of brightness and has a 30,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio to help produce details even in dark areas of the image, which is particularly useful for dark movie or video game scenes.

The projector has two HDMI inputs for connecting your digital HD devices such as a gaming console, Blu-ray player, or cable/satellite box. Its two built-in 5W speakers eliminate the need for external speakers if none are convenient. The TK850i includes an IR remote control for additional convenience.

Netflix is not natively supported by the included Android TV adapter. To use Netflix, a separate source is required. A Google account and an available Wi-Fi network are required for Android TV use. Please see the manufacturer's website for more information.
Powered by Android TV
The included Android TV adapter keeps your favorite content easy to access. Enjoy over 5000 Android apps for quick access to movies, TV shows, live sports, news, games, music, and more. One-button access to Amazon Prime Video lets you watch Prime originals and a variety of 4K movies and shows quickly and easily. The included adapter also provides Wi-Fi connectivity for app access, Chromecast built-in, the Google Assistant, and Google Voice search.
XPR Technology Projects UHD Resolution
XPR technology combines image processing with the ability of the DMD's mirrors to shift at the microsecond level to allow each mirror to project two pixels per frame, creating a 4K UHD image on your screen from an otherwise non-UHD chip.
Enhanced Cinema-Optimized Tone Mapping Helps Preserve Dark Details
BenQ Enhanced Cinema-Optimized Tone-Mapping uses Dynamic Iris and Dynamic Black technology to help increase the perceived contrast ratio so you can see dark details more clearly. Dynamic Iris technology controls the amount of light via the optical system to augment contrast. Dynamic Black analyzes a scene's brightness levels to help optimize the light output and contrast, bringing out details in shadows and preventing bright scenes from washout.
HDR Brightness
HDR brightness helps keep the ideal contrast when projecting different image sizes and against various screen gains most commonly used in home theater to help ensure a greater contrast range and enhanced image quality when HDR Mode is activated.
Realistic Video Quality with HDR-PRO
HDR-PRO technology is engineered to enhance the 4K HDR viewing experience with a greater contrast range to bring out more detail.
10-Element, 8-Group Lens Array
The 10-element lens array is designed to provide greater light penetration for realistic image quality. The lenses use low-dispersion lens coatings to help minimize chromatic aberration to further enhance clarity.
Accurate Color and Image Integrity
With its single-DMD design to help avoid the alignment issues that arise in multi-panel systems, the TK850i provides sharp images and accurate colors devoid of artifacts, blur, shadowing, and interference patterns.
Custom Sport Modes
Sports Mode is engineered to provide realistic skin tones, balanced outdoor blues and greens, and warm wood grains for indoor sports action, while also accentuating the announcer's commentary and the roar of the crowd. The Sports Motion Enhancer (MEMC) helps eliminate jittery playback and blurry shadows by inserting 36 interpolated frames per minute in between individual frames for 60 fps videos.
Chambered 10W Speaker
A 10W chambered speaker helps enhance sound quality for gaming, movie watching, or streaming.
Bright, Accurate Color
The TK850i balances 98% of Rec.709 color accuracy and 3000 lumens of brightness for quality viewing of your favorite show or sport.
Flexible Adjustment for Screen Alignment
The TK850i features 1.3x zoom with 10% vertical lens shift to help provide hassle-free installation. Vertical keystone correction adjusts the image to help you achieve a properly squared image, countering the trapezoid effect that occurs when a projector is placed off-center.
USB Type-A 3.1 Gen. 1
The USB port can transfer data at speeds up to 5 Gbps. You can also project video, audio, and photos from your compatible USB drive directly without a cable or computer. You can also update the firmware of the projector via USB to help keep it operating at peak efficiency.

I bought a BenQ 12 years ago and enjoyed it so much with no problems and only a bulb replacement. So when it came time to upgrade, I didn't consider any other, and it is even better in high level of daylight and the 4K resolution over a 11 foot diagonal screen is incredible.

Product met all expectations, although the quick start guide needs updating to indicate that there are screws to remove for opening the cover. The images appears to suggest that the top just pops off.

Can I connect bluetooth audio devices with the Android TV Dongle installed?
Asked by: Miguel
Bluetooth audio devices would not connect to the Android TV dongle. You may choose apps on the browser that have musc content, or select YouTube clips from a smartphone or tablet and send them wirelessly to the projector.
