Can I view the cameras and configure the NVR from ...

Can I view the cameras and configure the NVR from my network connected PC? (I am not referring to the Android/iOS app, I am looking for a PC interface. )
Asked by: Michael
Is there a way to view the cameras and the interface directly on my local network? It makes no sense to have to connect to a cloud service to see a camera six feet away from the computer. A cloud service means a loss of privacy as hackers will be able to see whatever the cloud service can see. If the cloud is down, or an intruder cuts my incoming internet connection, I would not be able to see what is going on. Using the cloud is way too complex and fraught a solution for a simple viewing app. Right now I can see all my IP cameras on an app on my desktop, or any computer in the house, or a tablet. That makes sense.

can I use solar power for the cameras?
Asked by: John
Yes, you can connect the cameras to a solar panel if you do not want to run POE. However, you still need to figure out a way to get the signal from the camera to the network and the recorder.
