Seems solid and holds onto the remote controller well. Using and iPad mini 4 with it (with thin case), holds pretty well but if bumped it could fall out. Wish the bite on the top and bottom extended a little bit more to hold better. Overall, does it's job and well made.

Fairly cheap plastic, iPad will cover your sticks and you will need to track down a slightly longer usb-c to lightning cable.

The allowable dimensions specified of 7-10" is incorrect. Per the manual this dimension is referring to long dimension of the tablet and no way represents the clamps operating range. The clamp has a min of 5.75" and max of 6.75". Not sure why they chose to use this dimension to specify compatible tablets when it has no bearing on actual opening range of the clamp. I hope this saves others time and money.

The DJI Remote Control Tablet Holder for Mavic Air 2 & Mini 2 will not work with a tablet mount that is 13/16" thick. For use with the tablet holder, I would recommend removing your tablet case.
