I tried it with my Wireless GO version 1 and it seems to work. I haven't given the system extensive tests yet however. I'll update as I learn more.

Will this work with Rode VideoMic Me-L Directional Microphone to plug into an Iphone 13 Pro Max?
Asked by: Terri
No, the Rode SC15 Lightning USB Type-C to Lightning Accessory Cable will not work to connect the Rode VideoMic Me-L Directional Microphone for iOS Devices to an iPhone. The VideoMic Me-L has a Lightning connection built-in and is designed to mount directly to the correlating Lightning connection on an iOS device. This microphone cannot be extended for use away from the phone.

Will this cable work with the DJI wireless mic ...

Will this cable work with the DJI wireless mic two iPhone 13 to give me separate left and right channels for two mics instead of mono?
Asked by: Paul
The Rode SC15 Lightning USB Type-C to Lightning Accessory Cable can be used to connect the receiver's output from the DJI Mic 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder to an iPhone, however, only Mono mode can be used. According to the manufacturer, when connecting the DJI receiver to the input on a Lightning-equipped device, the audio from both mics will be combined as a dual mono signal, so you will hear a mix of both mics on the left and right channels.

Can I use an apple usb-c to lighting cable in ...

Can I use an apple usb-c to lighting cable in place of this or will only this cable work with the NTG?
Asked by: Michael
The Rode SC15 cable is specifically designed for connecting the VideoMic NTG to an iOS device like an iPhone. The Apple USB-C to Lightning cable may work, but it's also very possible that you may get an error message saying something like “Cannot use device" or "The connected device requires too much power.” The Apple cable is intended for syncing and charging iOS devices but the Rode SC15 cannot be used to sync or charge iOS devices. The SC15 cable is the recommended accessory to use.

Does this cable separate the 2 channels into left ...

Does this cable separate the 2 channels into left and right for the iPhone or does it mix both channels into 1?
Asked by: Jack
The option for channel separation with the Rode SC15 Lightning USB Type-C to Lightning Accessory Cable depends on which device that you are using and whether the device has an option for stereo output or only mono output. If you are using the Rode Wireless GO II 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System with two transmitters, then you can set the receiver output for stereo mode and the audio from the two transmitters will be separated onto the left and right channels. If you are using the Rode VideoMic NTG Hybrid Analog/USB Camera-Mount Shotgun Microphone, there is no option for stereo output and the output is dual mono, so the audio on the left and right channels will be the same.
