Vienna Symphonic Library Big Bang Orchestra: Neptune is a virtual instrument with a library consisting of 13 woodwinds—from the piccolo to the contrabassoon—playing together (tutti) at Synchron Stage Vienna. These instruments correspond exactly to the ones included in the Big Bang Orchestra modules, where the entire orchestra is playing at once (Andromeda, Black Eye, and Capricorn). A perfect complement to the BBO: Orion Woodwind Sections, this library expands the series with rich and colorful woodwind sounds, ideal for creating warm and melancholic statements effortlessly and quickly right out of the box, for authentic film and game scoring, trailer music, and sound design.
Big Bang Orchestra: Neptune includes a piccolo, 3 flutes, 2 oboes, an English horn, 2 clarinets in Bb, a bass clarinet, 2 bassoons, and a contrabassoon. The included articulations with up to three velocity layers correspond to those of the other tutti BBO modules such as Andromeda, with variations of short notes, long notes, repetitions, espressivo, soft swells, sforzando, sforzatissimo, crescendos, flutter tongues, trills, and fast repetitions.
In addition to overhead microphones, Decca Tree, and surround mics, the instruments were isolated during the recording sessions with close microphones. This gives you more control and more creative options when mixing your sound using the included Synchron Player's internal mixer.
The software is compatible with Mac and Windows. It runs in standalone or operates within AU, VST, and AAX formats. BBO: Neptune integrates perfectly with every module in the BBO series.
