The Fujinon MK-R 18-55mm T2.9 Cine Zoom Lens is a lightweight cine-style zoom lens for Canon RF-mount cameras with Super35-sized sensors, mirrorless cameras such as the Canon C70, and cinema cameras such as the RED KOMODO. It features a mechanical design with three independent lens control rings: focus, iris, and zoom. Each ring incorporates a cine-style gear with a 0.8 MOD for interfacing with standard cine-style lens accessories. The focus ring features 200° of rotation, which gives room for precise focus pulls, and the iris is clickless, enabling smooth iris pulls. The lens also incorporates a macro mode for close focusing capabilities.
The lens is color-matched to other Fujinon lenses such as the MK, HK, ZK, and XK series, which enables smooth intercutting between lenses. The 85mm front diameter allows use with many cine-style matte boxes via the use of optional step-up rings (rings not included). The lens weighs only 2.2 pounds, which is light for a long cinema zoom that holds focus and aperture throughout the focal length range. It is designed for cameras with a Canon RF mount, so it has a short flange focal distance that can vignette at small apertures between 18 and 20mm, but the lens allows for flange focal distance adjustment, so you can fine-tune it to the camera using the lens.

Will this work well with EoeR5?
Will this work well with EoeR5?
This lens is meant to cover a Super35 sensor but the R5 is a Full Frame camera, so you will be able to use the lens, just in a cropped mode.

You cannot mount an RF mount lens on a EF camera. There is not enough room to make such an adapter.

Can anyone comment on how the image quality of this lens compares to Canon's 24-70 f/2.8II L? Or there other L-series glass.
Fujinon lenses are not comparable to Photography lenses at all. This is an apples and oranges type of thing.
