Is this the same Battery as the one in the first Mavic Mini/can the original Mavic Mini batteries power the Mini 2?
No, the battery is different. You can use the original Mavic Mini battery in the new Mini-2, however it is too heavy for the Mini-2 and causes the entire drone to be more than 250 grams, meaning it requires registering with the FAA. You cannot use the new battery (this one at B&H) with the original Mini-1. DJI will let you trade in the original Mini ... I got about $270 for mine.
