How should you store sealed unopened film packages if you're not going to use it for 5 months? (It expires 10/2015) Is it safe to put it in room temperature or should I put it in a fridge?

You can leave the film at room temperature if it's just for five months. Try to keep the box in a cool, dry and dark place if you can.
