Lume Cube Panel Pro Overview

  • 1Description
  • 2Color Temperature
  • 3360 RGB Colors and Special Effects
  • 4Built-In Battery
  • 5Diffusion
  • 6Vertical and Horizontal Mounting

In approximately a 6 x 3" ultra-slim body, the Lume Cube Panel Pro provides a more complete on-camera solution than its popular Panel GO predecessor, offering 360 RGB colors and a collection of special effects in addition to a 3000 to 5700K adjustable color temperature.

Either from a companion iOS/Android app or via onboard buttons and a rear color display, you can mix the RGB colors in virtually unlimited combinations to set the right background mood for your scene. Special effects include options such as strobe and siren, which can creatively be applied to your shot to add yet another dimension of production value at no additional cost.

All these features are provided in a highly lightweight and portable design that's less than a half-inch slim and which easily fits in your pocket like a smartphone.

Color Temperature

Adjustable 3000 to 5700K color temperature with a >96 CRI, 1 to 100% brightness dimming, and a maximum output of 1500 lux at 1.6' distance.

360 RGB Colors and Special Effects

Combine up to 360 RGB colors to dial in virtually any color on the color spectrum to set the mood and tone for your background. You can also apply built-in special effects, such as strobe and siren. All this can be done via onboard controls and a rear LCD, or remotely using the companion iOS/Android app over built-in Bluetooth.

Built-In Battery

A built-in battery provides approximately 2.5 hours of runtime at full brightness and 3.5 hours at 50% brightness, and it can be charged via an included USB cable while the light is in use, so you don't have to interrupt your workflow.

Diffusion

A built-in frosted lens layer adds a slight level of diffusion to the light, and an included removable diffuser can also be attached to soften the light output even more.

Vertical and Horizontal Mounting

With three 1/4"-20 mounting threads in different places, the lightweight Panel Pro can be attached vertically or horizontally on- or off-camera to function as a key, fill, backlight, and more. A shoe mount is included to let you attach the ultra-slim light directly to your camera hot shoe via one of the 1/4"-20 threads.

Can you use a power bank to run/charge the light/battery, and what wattage or specs do you need in the power bank?
Asked by: Ronald
Yes, you can use a power bank to operate the light. The light needs to be powered down in order to charge from the power bank. The recommended specifications for the power bank are dependent on how long you will need to operate the light. When plugged into a power bank, the light acts as if it is running off AC and will operate until the power bank runs out.
