Add a pair of compact, clip-on wireless microphones for your two-person interview, YouTube video, documentary production, or vlog with the black LARK 150 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System from Hollyland. The LARK 150 features two ultracompact microphone transmitters and a receiver that offer a portable, cost-effective, all-inclusive solution for recording two subjects at once to your camera, smartphone, audio recorder, or similar device with a 3.5mm input jack

The tiny transmitters feature built-in omnidirectional microphones and weigh less than 1 oz each, making them easy to clip onto shirt and lapel collars for quick interviews. The integrated mics offer an anti-vibration design with intelligent noise cancellation to ensure outstanding sound quality and clear, intelligible audio. For a more discreet appearance, you can use the included lavalier microphones and plug them into the 3.5mm input ports on the transmitters. The transmitter's power button doubles as a two-way mute button with a short press.

The two-channel receiver clips to your camera shoe and features easy-access volume knobs, a 3.5mm headphone monitoring output, a 3.5mm line output, and an easy-to-read OLED screen that shows the connection and battery status of all three units along with metering for audio levels.

The system uses automatic frequency selection with FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum) technology in the 2.4 GHz bandwidth to ensure a clean signal without interference or dropouts at a range of to 328' line of sight and 65' with limited obstacles. The receiver also supports switchable safety, stereo, and mono modes for different configurations and a low latency rate of 5ms.

Both the transmitters and the receiver feature built-in rechargeable batteries. The transmitters will each run up to 4 hours, while the receiver offers up to 7.5 hours of operating time; this means that for single-person shoots, the second transmitter can be used to extend your shooting time if necessary. The included storage and transport case automatically pairs the components and recharges them in 2.5 hours using its USB input port.

A USB cable, 3.5mm TRS audio cable, 3.5mm TRRS cable, two furry windscreens for the lavalier mics, and a storage bag are also supplied with the Lark 150. The system can be expanded with additional transmitters and receivers (available separately) to accommodate up to 8 wireless mics on set at one time.

Hollyland HL-LARK 150 Reviews

Extra bag, extra noise, but it checks the boxes.

These mics fit the bill and the price is right. Yes you need to carry an extra bag with you, no that's not elegant or convenient. They accept PD fast chargers, they work reliably, they're easy enough to use and navigate, and they've made my video workflow so much smoother on site. That's a huge plus for things like weddings or events where your talent is stressed or preoccupied more than likely. I've not had great luck with noise performance, but that might not be the fault of the mics. Far more likely it's the fault of the pre-amps or the multi-tasking distracted videographer setting them up in the first place...lol I love em and for the price they shine.

Not happy

I just sent my Hollyland wireless system for warranty repairs. The left transmitter is sending a garbage signal back to the receiver. It worked well the first few months. Now, I have to rent a wireless system for my next few shots. Totally bummed. I hope to get it back soon because renting audio equipment can add up. If I don't get this system back soon I'll be forced to buy something new.

Love using the lark 150 wireless lav kit. This device is wireless, extremely lightweight, and affordable. This is my go to lav kit for narrative work and commercials

Battery is dead only after a few days of sitting.

I bought this system a few weeks ago. Have used it a few times and works fine. The last time I went to grab it after not using it for about 8 days the entire unit and contents were dead. I had to rush to charge it on the fly. Not happy. So I did a test. Left it on my desk at full charge. Case, both transmitters and receiver were fully charged. After 4 days the case was almost dead but the contents were at full charge. It looks like I need to keep this unit plugged in at all times while I am not using it. Is this normal? Please help. Looks like I will return soon.

Awesome product in a small box

I ordered my larks 1 month ago and I feel really really happy with them. I ordered the 2 microphone version because this give me more space to work with them. I used on internews and having the -6 option to record a backup sound works so well because in that form you don't lose any details. Of course one thing that i like the most is the charging box because it works as a travel case but it's the charger too. By the way I love so much the size of the microphone because they look similar to an AirPods case so it's really small. By the way you can use their own Lavalier microphone that includes in a little bag of use other ones. I will recomend this product so much.

How does Hollyland LARK compare with other mics?

By John

I compared these mics to a few that I currently have. For what you pay for they do offer a lot of versatility. Although the sound quality isn't exactly where I'd want it to be but for a run & gun solution it's great. In my opinion, this would be a good solution for an impromptu podcast, news gathering, or even a wedding. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zinET9jT-6U

Does this clown have XLR outputs so that you can connect to professional camera or audio mixer?
Asked by: Michael
The Lark 150 Wireless system does not include an XLR output cable. You can use adapters like these though, for connection with professional XLR inputs: sum both channels to mono: https://bhpho.to/3IBRQba stereo XLR output: https://bhpho.to/3vz9kkT For a dual channel wireless system that will meet a more professional expectation, I would recommend considering the Sony UTXB40 transmitters with the URX-P03D receiver, as packaged in this kit: https://bhpho.to/3hyxlQN
