Rated 2 out of 5 by from Worked for a couple years I used this to connect my iPad to a mixer for a couple years, estimating a dozen times. It worked well during that time but has now failed (buzz in signal and confirmed by cable tester). I don't consider that adequate usage. Hosa's website says they warranty cables to be free of defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime of the original purchaser but I have to ship it to them and probably end up paying as much in shipping as the able costs. I have liked Hosa cables but I think I need a different supplier and, for some, will make my own with Belden 8412.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well, but... When I DJ weddings i use this for my laptop. It's good quality, just not very versatile. The housing around the 1/8 plug is too large to plug in to cell phones with cases. (The several I've tried, at least.) Because the 1/8 connection is so robust, I broke the headphone out on my laptop when I set my computer down too close to my mixer and the plug housing caught the edge of the mixer. There is just no give. Which is both good and bad, depending, I guess. My cheaper cable would have flexed and saved my jack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I needed... I use these cables to connect a mixing board to my computer and to connect an electric piano/keyboard to a digital audio recorder. They make it easy to go back and forth from 1/4 mono connections to 3.5mm stereo without adding in a bunch of adapters. The cables are heavy duty, very soft and flexible, and have sturdy molded ends. I'll probably order a couple more to put in my portable audio kit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works A Treat Good sound quality. I bought this with the intention of running the output from my Zoom R16 directly into my GH2. This did work, but I had to be very careful about the output levels on the R16. I've sense changed my setup to have the R16 output to my H4N and then go to my GH2 through an approved sescom cable for the GH2.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works with the H1 I bought this to use with the Zoom H1 to record live events. So far it works well. I shoot on the 7d and then record sound to the H1, which I connect to the sound board using this guy. Great cord to have in your kit along with an XLR/mini cord, especially for dslr shooting.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice cable that plays nicely. I needed a cable that would take independent L & R channels from a mic preamp and input those signals to my 60D. This way I can run 2 mics - a lav and boom - and set their levels separately. It works well. I just wish it had a right angle mini end.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for live gigs Great cable to have when filming/recording at live events where you never know what the sound operator is going to have to send you. This guy can mix down two 1/4in mono outs into a stereo 1/8in for your DSLR or mini recorder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from works as needed nice solid cables, color coding helps, no line noise even near power supply. using in conjunction with art usb dual pre-amp and zoom h1 for remote audio recording with my dslr. Bought these to avoid adapters.
