The Sibelius | Ultimate Network 1-Year Subscription Multiseat Site License New Seat is available to educational institutions who do not own Sibelius | Ultimate and would like to lease a minimum of 5 Network seat licenses for 12 months.
With this Network license, the Sibelius License Server program—the License Server software is included free of charge with all network multi-packs—is installed and Activated on one computer or server (the Host) using an Activation ID and System ID (provided with purchase via an Entitlement Certificate). Any number of computers with Sibelius | Ultimate installed, up to the limit allowed under the license, can then connect to the License Server over the network and run Sibelius | Ultimate. There is no need to individually activate each computer, so no longer does each student need an individual iLok and iLok license to access the software.
Separately avaialble Standalone licenses allow users to individually run Sibelius | Ultimate on their personal computer without the need of a network. If you're running Sibelius 7, 7.5, or above, you can contact Sibelius Support and request that your license be changed from Network to Multiseat Standalone, and vice-versa.
The software comes with a Sibelius | Ultimate Software Update and Support Plan, which includes access to all new product updates and Standard Support for one year.
At the end of the 1-year period, users have two options if they want to continue using Sibelius: either purchase the full-cost Network Perpetual Multi-Seat Site License, or renew for another year at the current rate.
