Having used the DSLR Nikkor 14-24mm Lens for years it was a dream to move to the Z version of this lens. It's smaller, lighter and beautifully matched to the Z8, and this filter holder just completes the package.

When I traded my Nikon 14-24 F mount for the newer Z mount, I was fearful that my desire to now use my Lee filters would be fulfilled. By purchasing the 82mm adapter ring and the NiSi 100mm holder, I can now use them. Saved me a lot of money in new filters. I found out about it in the customer Q&A section of the product info. It pays to read them. Thank you B&H!

I own this filter holder and want to use it on my 82 mm lenses. What adaptor is needed?
It's a little confusing out of the box to connect this filter system to other lenses. Key is that the NIP100NZ1424 needs to be separated into its two component parts: the filter holder, and the Z 14-24 lens adapter. This is done by pulling the skinny pin on the filter holder (first unlock the pin's inner thumb ring). Note yes, the pin looks like a thumbscrew, but it's a spring-loaded release pin. Once separated, the filter holder part of NIP100NZ1424 can be attached to the 82mm adapter ring (BH #NIPV6AD82 MFR #NIP-V6-AD82).

I have NiSi v5 100mm square filter holder with a CPL that works on my 77mm and 82mm. And the system works well with the CPL and the square filters together. I'm asking if this filter holder for Z 14-24 will work with the CPL and the square filters I already have?
The NiSi 100mm Filter Holder for Nikon Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S Lens (B&H# NIP100NZ1424) will accept the 100mm wide filters (up to 2mm thick) just like those that you have been using on your NiSi V5 filter holder. As the NiSi representative has mentioned, the CPL from your V5 won't work with this. However, this NiSi filter may be of interest as it may be used without a holder (but requires the use of the Nikon lens hood):
