Does this EFV include a regular (shoe mount) foot to mate into a standard camera shoe?
Asked by: Eric
It has 3 1/4 20 threads on the bottom, and a nato rail - so no direct shoe mount - but you can easily add an inexpensive 'ball' head with a shoe mount and 1/4 20 on it.

If I'm shooting 4k120, does this just turn off or does it still display anything?
Asked by: Anonymous
You will still see an image through the viewfinder. Your camera may be recording at 120p but the HDMI output is usually set to a normal frame rate (like 30 or 24) by default. in the event that it isn't almost all cameras allow you to control the HDMI output separately from the recording resolution frame rate in the menu settings.

I purchased this EVF and use it on a Canon C100 MK II. However the image in the EVF stutters or judders when I pan (however slowly.) What could be causing this and is there a way to correct this issue?
Asked by: James
Check to make sure you are giving it at least 7VDC. Check to make sure the camera output settings matches the EVF's video input settings. If still no go, contact Portkeys for service.
