It provides much light that can be lowered in steps with the in-line control. The light can be adjusted to three color temperatures. The flexible gooseneck provides plenty of adjustment to get you ready for your closeup for Mr. deMille, to paraphrase the famous movie line. I have not used the cell phone holder, but can see how it would be handy. The clamp opens about 2. It was a great buy on sale and I would recommend it at the list price also.

It did the trick for balancing out the harsh light coming in from an adjacent window. Great color and brightness options, flexible installation -- we didn't use the phone holder so can't comment on that.

I use this for my video calls and love the different light settings. Phone Clamp works great as well. Just wish the desk clamp was a little bigger. If I didn't have a glass top desk it would be hard to find something to attach it to and I definitely wouldn't attach to my laptop screen. Overall great product.

The light was okay but the cellphone holder broke within 3 months of usage, maybe because of the size of the holder being too small.
