Does NOT work with Full Frame photo

The lens feels good and does all the things you'd want. When shooting photos on the Panasonic S5, there's a vignetting caused by the lens. Not recommended for that camera.

Great lens for the price

Pretty heavy due to all metal body. But feels very solid. Focus ring is buttery smooth and aperture ring clicks nicely, letting you know how much you've adjusted it. My only complaint is the screw on metal lens cover. I would have much preferred a standard squeeze on style plastic one. But overall very good for the price

Slow down, enjoy the process, love the lens

Using my Fuji mirrorless camera focusing aids- accurate focus is easy. Not auto focus? No problem- just takes more time. Resulting photos are beautiful. To be clear, this is not a lens for birds in flight or an indoor basketball game. You must focus carefully for best results. That precision using the lens at f1.2 means slow down. The lens- all metal. Focusing ring smooth, just enough resistance, feels very good. Aperture ring clicks with precision. If photography for you is pixel peeping at 200% this may not be what you want. But if you just use it to take photos - you will enjoy the lens, the process and the results. For the price you can't beat its performance. If you don't like it use it as a paperweight or conversation starter- still inexpensive for that purpose.

Amazing lens

Honestly I bought this lens not expecting much and the results of it have been incredible. Focus is great, sharpness is good. Took it on a photo walk through NYC and found myself using it wide open at 1.2 all the time. Used it in a studio setting, tack sharp. Great lens

The only thing that bothers me about this lens is that it's a manual lens. That it, manual lenses are annoying to me but I still enjoy using it for portraits, street photography, and live band pictures specially in the dark

Great Lens, Greater Value

I've had this lens for about a month and have found it to be a great lens regardless of the price. I've put it to use in a variety of settings and have been incredibly happy with the results. The build quality is amazing, the focus and aperture rings are easy to use, and I have found that the image quality stands up really well even when compared to my much more expensive Nikon 50mm f1.8. This is definitely an old school lens, as opposed to one packed full of tech features. Have I missed focus on a few images that I wish I hadn't? Of course. But that is a me problem, not a lens problem. Using this lens has forced me to slow down, and be more intentional when I am taking photos. I think that has led to better images, even if there are a few that I have missed. I can't recommend this lens strongly enough.

The TTArtisan f/1.2 for Fuji X-mount is a pleasure to shoot with. Solid construction, fast f-stop, and sharp focus. What else could you ask for?

Exceeds Expectations

This lens goes way beyond any expectations. I have been slow to adopt third party lenses because of how important a lens is to photography. However, I am totally satisfied with the build quality, feel, and results from this lens. Careful focus is needed at wide open apertures but that works for how I shoot.

I just received this with a M4/3 mount. When I put it on my OM-D E-M1 II, I see nothing - looks the same with lens cap off as on. This was listed as compatible for my camera. Tried it at all aperture. My camera did detect that is a MF lens. What more do I need to do Or just return it?
Asked by: Deborah
Thanks for the answer - good to know about the tight fit and tricky connection. However, Ive already returned the lens because of the weight of the lens. Too heavy for a small prime. Along with an Uber touchy connection, it doesnt meet my needs.
