Performance is suprisingly good. I've got this lens on my Nikon Z fc most of the time and pick the camera up and practice focusing like I used to.

Just buy it

Great lens. This is my second TTArtisan lens and I love them both. Everything I've read and have learned from courses I've taken has said to get off the auto mode. TTArtisan has made it easy for me to transition to manual mode. This is my second lens the 40mm f/2.8 being the first. I really like both of them and plan on adding to my TTArtisan arsenal. Thank You.

Wow what a great lens. I'm new to photography with a camera and this was my first lens purchase. Great quality. And B&H will definitely continue to get my business. They are great people to work with. Fast and friendly service every time

Fantastic Lens for Xmount

This lens is Fantastic in terms of construction quality and price. I would say is not the typical lens for beginners because it's a bit difficult due to the manual operation and is not electronically controlled by the camera, but with a bit practice and dedication I was able to obtain high quality video results with my Fuji X-S10 . I just received this with a M4/3 mount. When I put it on my OM-D E-M1 II, I see nothing - looks the same with lens cap off as on. This was listed as compatible for my camera. Tried it at all aperture. My camera did detect that is a MF lens. What more do I need to do Or just return it?
Asked by: Deborah
Thanks for the answer - good to know about the tight fit and tricky connection. However, Ive already returned the lens because of the weight of the lens. Too heavy for a small prime. Along with an Uber touchy connection, it doesnt meet my needs.

The Sigma fp is a full-frame camera but this lens is a L-mount APS-C/Super35 lens. It will fit but you might have to shoot in Super35.
