I haven't had this for too long yet but so far, it's been great. Flash is strong enough for what I do. I'm debating right now if I should buy another.

Highly recommended

Good - The Easiest OCF System That I have Ever Used

This is the 8th Godox flash that I have owned and I love the ease of controlling them for OCF. The only reason that I bought this one is to have a model that is compatible with my Nikon Z camera bodies for on-camera flash. All the others which are now several years old work perfectly and can all be controlled by mounting this one on my Z6II or Z7II. The Li-Ion batteries hold a charge for what seems like forever when not in use. Highly recommend! Far easier to use than anything that Nikon makes for about 1/3 the price.

Powerful and capable flash

This model, unlike some other brands is fully compatible with the new Nikon Z9 and I was able to use it in i-TTL mode which I prefer. It recycles very quickly after flashing. I also bought the Godox XProN TTL Wireless Flash Trigger so I could use two of these flashes at the same time.

So much better than the previous version

The Godox Ving V860III is an amazing upgrade from the V860II. I love the modeling light. It still talks to my II's and the battery lasts much longer. It feels a touch lighter but I really like it so far. I am testing it out with a wedding soon but so far it has exceeded my expectations. I can't wait to upgrade my II's to the newer version. The menu is better and the controls make more sense.

The Godox V860iii works with the Nikon Z9

The current firmware of Godox V860iii works in i-TTL mode and also with High Speed Sync enabled with the Nikon Z9. Not all flashes work with the Z9. Although an instruction manual was provided (the primary portion was in Chinese) it was definitely not clear and some things on the flash did not seem to work as described in the manual. It took a couple of hours to get two V860 flashes to talk to each other and also separately to be controlled by a Godox XPro N.
