Freewell Magnetic Quick-Swap Neutral Density 1.5 Filter (112mm, 5-Stop)
Key Features
  • 1.5 Optical Density
  • Designed for Solar Photography
  • Darkens Entire Image Area
  • Reduce Shutter Speeds, Widen Apertures
This 112mm Magnetic Quick-Swap Neutral Density 1.5 Filter from Freewell is an ND filter with a 64x filter factor that provides a 5-stop exposure reduction. The filter's 1.5 density darkens the entire image area without affecting the image's coloration, allowing the photograph to be made with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than is usually required. Widening the aperture allows for finer control over depth-of-field to help isolate the image subject or increase bokeh. Slowing the exposure time increases blur and conveys movement more easily.

So this is not a CPL? In the first picture it clearly indicates it is CPL but everything else in the listing including the title suggests that it's an ND filter and not a Circular Polarizer Linear lens filter.
Asked by: Eric
This is not a CPL, it is a solid ND. I will email the webmaster to double check on the photo.
