Hi, how is the tripod mount?
Asked by: Rubén
This can be mounted to a 1/4-20 tripod as well as a ceiling mount. This does mount very well and holds tightly so you don't need to worry about anything falling.

How do you mount a camcorder on this device? I recently purchased one and find that the slots on the mounting plate are too narrow to allow the a 1/4" screw to pass through them to attach a camcorder. I want to mount a Canon XF400 which like almost all camcorders mounts with a 1/4' or 3/8" screw. There is no guidance on how to mount a camcorder in the Users Manual.
Asked by: James
Since this shown to work with dozens of cameras with 1/4" tripod mounts, I would look to the ends of the slots to see holes that will allow a 1/4" screw in. Then move it down the slot to where you wish to position the camera.
