I use it on a Fuji X100 and it seems the Gx7 uses a similar strap mount, so yes.

Hi, the swivel clips are metal or plastic made ?Thanks in advance.Jorge
Asked by: Jorge H.
The strap has been on my Nikon for some time now. It does not slip, no one can tell what kind of camera I am carrying, the strap is well-made. The direct answer to the question is, as noted, the clips are METAL. Good luck! This was a good purchase for me and I recommend the strap if it suits your needs.

I have 5 Domke Gripper camera straps for my digital and film camera boddies. They are durable and well made, and best of all, don't scream out Nikon or Canon in brilliant yellow for thieves to know what you have around your neck! The main strap that sits on your shoulder is 18 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide, made of a heavy duty, durable cloth webbing, perhaps a blend of different materials. Embedded on one side of the cloth are two rows of rubber, designed to prevent your strap from slipping off your shoulder. Its quite effective on slippery, Gortex and nylon jackets, however with heavy usage, the rubber starts to wear off.Stitched at both ends is a thick, black leather layer that wraps around the strap, holding a brass D-ring to which a clasp is attached, as seen in the photos. My straps have been subjected to rain and salt water from expeditions around the world, including Antarctica, and have stood up very well. If they get wet, I detach it from the clasps, and just let it air dry. The leather seems to be none the worse for it.With heavy usage, after a few years the strap will start to fray at the edges. At that point, its like old jeans - time to toss it and get another. Personally, I have not seen a better, more durable strap on the market.Hope this helps!Frederic in Montral
