Ubiquiti Networks USW Flex Mini Reviews
poor support = bad rating
When I submitted a ticket to Ubiquiti asking for clarification on some settings or a link to docs other than the installation sheet, they couldn't tell me fast enough that this was an entry level product in the one sentence sandwiched between boilerplate spewage. Replies had a 4-day turn-around, minimum, with no resolution. One unit won't be adopted by my Cloud Key anymore. I even bought a Mini 8pt POE switch thinking that might help. All Ubiquiti gear is now turned off, disconnected, and ready for reboxing. Buy this if you don't need any support or documentation for something that UI doesn't want to touch.
No Power Adaptors
We ordered 3 of the 3 packs of the USW Flex mini switches and they didn't come with power adaptors. There was nothing about this in the description, so the Power adaptors should have been included.
Awesome mini switch
I got 4 of this mini switch to connect tv appletv Xbox play station etc The connection was easy using Poe and only 1 drop in each room Very happy with it price was amazing $29 each
Excellent value
These are so nice to have at the end of drops for a simple, cheap, and quick way to support VLANs in various places around the house. Can't believe they're so cheap!
Fantastic Price for the Feature Set
Even though these are plastic - they run just as well as the metal versions from other vendors - but have way more features. The adoption process in Unifi was also simple.

Arrived quickly. Really nice managed UniFi switch at a low price. Complemented my home USG-3P and UAP-AC-LR well. Be aware that this model is managed through the controller only - there is no built-in SSH interface.
Great for home office if you're in the Ubiquiti ecosystem
I'm moving away from an unmanaged switch to this for my home office, and it does exactly what you need. You can tag different ports with different vlans -- for me, I've got some ports on my work network, and others on the home network and can keep them separate. The big caveat: you need to already be in the Ubiquiti ecosystem. I plugged this in, and my UDM picked it right up and was ready to adopt it. Works great for me.
Fantastic Little Switch with Effortless Setup
The UniFi USW Flex Mini 5-Port Gigabit Managed Switch is a gem. Setting up was a breeze through the user-friendly UniFi Controller software. Its compact size belies its exceptional reliability with lightning-fast connections for various devices. It seamlessly handles streaming, gaming, and more. This sleek switch's sturdy build and versatile design fit any setup. For a hassle-free, top-notch network upgrade, the UniFi USW Flex Mini is a clear winner. It's become an essential part of my network, and I couldn't be happier
