This cable is a solid build and fits snuggly into both the camera and the monitor. Build quality is very high. The drawstring carry bag is a nice extra for storage/protection and is helpful in making the cable stand out when you're searching for the cable in your gear bag.

I bought this for my Atomos Shinobi. It's perfect to run between the monitor and my A7iv. I bought a high-speed cable so I can also use it with a Ninja and have no issues.

I own 3 of this. It's the right length and sturdy enough for my needs. So far so good. I like how they package it too. It comes in a fancy box with a handy soft pouch. Also, the little velcro strap is appreciated!

Was Hyper Thin, no longer is

I've ordered this twice after ordering loads of these and I love them. Or, I used to. Long story short, they used t be thin but now are annoyingly not thin and surprisingly stiff. I will try one more time to order these before changing my review, but you should know that most reviews here are outdated now. These are not thin. The box also no longer labels them and hyper thin, but they apparently have the same SKU. Go for Smallrig thin cables. Not quite as good as these used to be, but they're night and day compared to these. No way would I ever use them with a gimbal or even a Teradek / sensitive camera port with my standards.

Awesome Quality, and I love the bag.

This just looks and feels like quality, high-end products. I can't speak for the technical aspects of it, but it works like it should and even looks good. I love the bag that it comes with as well, nice touch.

I know this is included in a bundle with Atomos Ninja V+ but will it support 8K Raw out of a Canon R5 and into the Ninja V+ to record in 8K ProRes Raw? I understand it would be 8K 10bit via HDMI vs 8K 12bit internally but I'm interested in the unlimited and overheating free output with the Ninja V+. Just need to make sure cable handles it (the cable Atomos makes does not). Thanks.
Asked by: David
I've not had any issues with this cable recording 8k Raw on the ninja+ It's rated high enough on the bandwidth to keep the data rate constant. And the secure clips help keep the connection solid. Also I wouldn't say overheating free depending on environment. In a climate controlled room you'll get unlimited or darn close to it. Outside in the south. It's still limited but a heck of a lot longer. Had the camera body say it would overheat in 2 minutes. Plugged it into the ninja and flipped on the raw. Got over 15 minutes of RAW 8k before the camera decided it was too hot. It was 92 outside with a heat index of over 100
