Dual Sim, great screen, 1/4 of the price of the Apple and Samsung products. Android One to boot.
Easy to play
This at the time was one of the most affordable dual sim android phones when I bought it. The main selling points for me were the dual sim functionality and (from what I've heard) timely android updates. Well we're into May now and this device still has yet to receive android 11, and is still on the security update from March. All of the Samsung phones in my house are now on 11, and have April's security update. And generally speaking if you are behind Samsung on updates you have failed to deliver updates in a timely fashion. I'm realistic with what to expect from this phone considering its price but the display is poor. I wasn't expecting fast refresh panels or amazing photos or even a buttery smooth lag free experience. I needed only 2 things from this phone. Dual sim and timely updates. I'm 1/2. If you are looking for a decent device and don't need dual sim I would recommend something else.
Good phone The only two things I didn't like: 1- Fingerprint sensor sometimes takes time to recognize the print. 2- B&H declares real Customs value and I paid too much fees for Customs. However, it's good quality and packed well. Thanks B&H!
The Android implementation seems buggy (settings search doesn't work at all, the only in-app purchase I've tried to make failed repeatedly but then worked fine on my old phone). Camera is missing some features (e.g RAW mode, rapid exposure-bracketing--or those features aren't exposed to the API). Otherwise it seems decent. Fingerprint sensor works well if kept clean.
Battery doesn't last very long, drains even while idle in my pocket throughout the day, is embedded with all kinds of googoo spyware, some of which cannot be deleted without rendering the phone useless. Upon deleting & disabling unwanted apps I lost the keyboard. Was not able to text or do any kind of searching on any browsing apps. Had to reset phone to factory settings to fix & start over again removing/disabling spyware apps installed on phone from factory. What kind of company makes your keyboard (gboard) embedded into a spyware app that cannot be deleted? Touch screen does not respond to being touched a lot of the time & its hard to close out apps, when you think you've closed them they are still running in the background using data & draining battery. Phone is also slow to open things, shows old screens before changing updating when programs are first opened as if it doesn't have enough processing power. Loved my nokia 4.2 but they don't make it anymore. Apparently they couldn't spy on people enough with that basic, simple design. Shame on you nokia, last phone I ever buy from you!
I owned the Nokia 7S for 3 years. Unfortunately this excellent phone had to be replaced. Since it was a great phone, I tried brand loyalty. This is Phone is awful. The processor is slow; very slow. The voice to text is horrible. The screen resolution is not crisp. And half the time on the phone people tell me they can't hear me or that the sound drops out. The only things I can say about this phone is that it does have GREAT BATTERY LIFE & charges very quickly. Camera has a lot of options as well. But once I can figure out what else to buy, this is going back.
Thanks. Exelent service fast shipping exelent phone
