Designed for electric and electro-acoustic guitarists, Line 6's Spider V 240HC MKII is a stereo amplifier, which models classic amp heads, cabinets, and effects, providing them all in one package. You’ll find over 200 amplifier, cabinet, and effect emulations, all built-into a 240W amplifier with dual 4" speakers. New to the 240HC class of Spider amps is a classic speaker mode, for a transparent sound onstage.
Use the 240HC alone for quiet gigs, or pair it with a separately available Spider V 412 MkII speaker cabinet for performing in clubs and stadiums.
With multiple analog and digital connection points, this amplifier is perfect for the guitarist who needs to consider every scenario in the studio, at rehearsal, and on the stage. It can even help you practice, thanks to its tuner, metronome, and rhythmic accompaniment.

Intuitive Interface
This amp allows you to eschew complex menu diving in the pursuit of good tone. You can dial in your sound quickly using controls familiar to any amplifier user. You can tweak settings and effects parameters using the knobs and also use an intuitive editing interface. Simple color-coded controls make it easy to navigate different types of amps and effects models.

Spider V features presets based on studio setups from legendary songs and albums. You'll also find artist presets handcrafted by some of the world's most respected guitarists. Genre presets make it easy to find sounds that fit your creative style. You can use the presets as starting points for your own unique sound.
Built-In Cabinet Emulation, Speakers, and Large Cabinet Support
The amplifier sports a 2x4" speaker cabinet for practicing without an external cabinet. At gigs, the amp pairs nicely with the Spider V 412 MkII 4x12" cabinet, through which you can utilize all of the 240HC's built-in cab emulations. However, the unit also interfaces with other, non-emulative 4x12 cabinets. Should you wish to use cabinets that boast their own desired tonal characteristics, you can switch off cabinet modeling by means of a toggle on its rear panel.
Compatible with FBV Controllers
Spider V is compatible with the Line 6 FBV 3 foot controller, giving you hands-free control over your amps and effects.
Suitable for Acoustic Guitars
Enhanced acoustic presets are designed with Line 6's Variax acoustic technology to bring out tonal qualities inherent in your acoustic guitar. Dialed-in effects like delay and reverb are also available.
Built-In Practice Tools
A built-in tuner and metronome ensures that your playing will always be in tune and on time. A collection of real drum loops recorded by professional drummers is useful for when you're ready to practice or jam, and an onboard phrase looper comes in handy for accompanying your own solos in practice and performance settings.
Built-In Wireless Receiver
This amplifier sports a built-in wireless receiver. It's compatible with the plug-in Relay G10T Transmitter, which is available separately. The amplifier is also compatible with any Line 6 RF2 transmitter, like those included with the Relay G30, G50, G55, and G90—so long as you're using firmware 2.0 or later.
A Bevy of Connections
In addition to the guitar input, you'll note the 3.5mm line input for routing your favorite tunes from smartphones or music players. Two 1/4" jacks provide speaker connections to external cabinets, and the amplifier runs at 4 ohms in mono or 8 ohms in stereo. A 1/4" headphone jack, which mutes the speaker, allows for silent practice. Dual XLR jacks on the rear panel let you record analog audio straight to your recording interface or route sound from the amp directly to the house, thereby obviating the need for miking your amp onstage.
USB Interface
When you're ready to record, Spider V is equipped with two USB connections, one for iOS and another for computer or Android device. These ports allow you to connect to a computer, tablet, or smartphone in order to record your guitar into any recording app.
Mobile App
The free Spider V mobile app for iOS and Android gives you access to over ten thousand tones in the cloud. Access custom tones from other guitarists around the world, or upload your own tone creations to instantly share with the entire Line 6 community.
