I purchased two of these tripods in September 2021, one from Amazon and one from B&H. Both of them have screws came loose so it is a common problem for this tripod. I contacted Lume Cube and they do not have spare screws to repair them, which means I now have two useless tripods only after a year of use.
I was looking for a small compact tripod for my lights to use for photography that could also extend a few feet in height. This was prefect, it's light weight and super portable. You do need to be careful when closing the three legs as it is easy to pinch your fingers. Other than that, it's a great tripod.
Works great for rim lighting. Only complaint is that the locking mechanism can be touchy at times, dropping down when not secured. Otherwise it's a good stand.
Just used two of these light stands for two Panel Pro's illuminating a vase of cut flowers for a time-lapse of the flowers opening. They worked just fine. Lightweight, collapsing into a small tube for storage and plenty of strength for an indoor shoot. I would be hesitant to use these outdoors if there was a breeze but I can't imagine doing that. Highly recommend.

Super compact, super functional. I wish the threaded portion were slightly longer, and I wish the head was removable. Otherwise it's great.
It is so versatile and very compact with a great design and material.
