Can I use this to connect the Deity HD-TX to my camera?
Asked by: Taylor
In theory, yes, the Deity Microphones V-Link 3.5mm TRS Male to XLR 3-Pin Male Microphone Adapter Cable could be used to connect an output signal from a camera's 3.5mm headphone jack to the XLR input on the Deity Microphones HD-TX Plug-On Transmitter with Built-In Recorder.

Second question: Will this also work with the Synco D2 when plugged into the new Beachtek-Max Active Audio Adapter DSLR?
Asked by: Mandi
No, the Deity Microphones V-Link 3.5mm TRS Male to XLR 3-Pin Male Microphone Adapter Cable will not work with the Synco Mic-D2 Hypercardioid Shotgun Microphone because it has a male XLR connector and the mic requires a female XLR connector. The V-Link Adapter Cable is intended for use with a microphone that has a 3.5mm output and requires plug-in power, but needs to connect to an XLR input. This cable does not allow phantom power to pass through to the microphone. It has a built-in phantom power converter that converts phantom power to 3 to 5V of plug-in power. The Mic-D2 needs to connect to an XLR mic input that can supply 48V of phantom power for the mic to operate.

Will this connect a Sennheiser EW G3/G4 RX to a MixPre's XLR input? If so, is it 100 (unbalanced) or 500 (balanced) wiring?
Asked by: Colin
No, the Deity Microphones V-Link 3.5mm TRS Male to XLR 3-Pin Male Microphone Adapter Cable is not compatible for connection to a Sennheiser receiver. For a similar cable that is compatible for use with a Sennheiser wireless receiver, you can use the Cable Techniques Right-Angle Locking 3.5mm TRS to Low-Profile XLR Male Coiled Cable for Sennheiser (B&H # CACCG4X3M8) or the Sennheiser CL 35-XLR Right-Angle Locking 3.5mm TRS to XLR Male Coiled Output Cable (B&H # SE700062).

Does this provide phantom power like the Deity Microphones D-XLR 3.5mm to XLR Adapter with Phantom to Plug-In Power Conversion BH #DEDXLR? I want to use my Deity Microphones V-Mic D3 Pro into a Focusrite Scarlett Solo interface to stream on Twitch with. Would this work?
Asked by: JASON
Yes, the Deity Microphones V-Link 3.5mm TRS Male to XLR 3-Pin Male Microphone Adapter Cable can be used for the same types of applications as the Deity Microphones D-XLR 3.5mm to XLR Adapter with Phantom to Plug-In Power Conversion. Like the D-XLR Adapter, the V-Link Cable has a built-in power converter that will allow you to use phantom power (48V) from the XLR input on the Focusrite Scarlett Solo USB Audio Interface and then converts it to plug-in power (3 to 5V), which the Deity Microphones V-Mic D3 Pro Shotgun Microphone requires to function.

Does it work with Rode Wireless Go II?

Does it work with Rode Wireless Go II?
Asked by: Phanith
The V-Link adapter should work to connect the output from the Wireless GO II receiver to an XLR mic input. This adapter does have a built-in phantom power converter which would not be of use with the transmitter, but if used as a standard 3.5mm TRS to XLR male cable, it should function properly. As another option, you could use the Cable Techniques 18" 3.5mm R/A Low-Profile XLR-3M Male for RODE Wireless Go Output to Field Mixer and Recorder (B&H # CACTGOX3M18) which does not have the phantom power converter.

The Deity Microphones V-Link 3.5mm TRS Male to XLR 3-Pin Male Microphone Adapter Cable - 12" is not available in black, but we do have similar cables from other manufacturers in black. The Cable Techniques Rode Wireless GO to Canon C70 Coiled Low-Profile Cable - 8 to 15" (B&H # CACTGOCC708) and the Cable Techniques Rode Wireless GO to 3-Pin XLR Male Low-Profile Cable - 18" (B&H # CACTGOCCX3M8) will both work in the same way as the Deity cable.
