Does exactly what I wanted

With a trip to Machu Piccu and other places on the calendar, I wanted a lens that could take a wider shot than my 14 mm lens. While this one has manual focus, the landscapes I was shooting wasn't moving around much, so that was OK. The images are clear, the lens works well my older Olympus mirrorless 4/3 camera and I'm very happy.

Very sharp little lens!

I bought this lens to see what kind of interesting photos I could get with it on my Sony A6000. So far I am very pleased with the sharpness and color this small fish eye lens produces straight out of camera. I shoot with an aps-c camera just for fun and to experiment with different third party lenses. I think anyone whose primary camera is a Sony aps-c body would find this lens very fun to use often. I’m looking forward to shooting some astro photography and northern lights photos with this super sharp little lens.

How does this work with full frame Z cameras, the Z9 in particular?
Asked by: Jim F
The Nikon z7.5mm f2.9 II fisheye lens is a Z mount lens and while it will mount and work on the z9 - because the z9 is full frame it will not cover the full sensor. A full frame lens would be a better choice for the full frame cameras. APSC lenses like the 7.5mm Nikon would best be used on APSC size sensor cameras.

Does anyone on Nikon Z have done astrophotography pics with this?
Asked by: Josue
In all honesty, its use in astrophotography will vary on quite a few circumstances, but it does perform quite admirably due to its ultra-wide angle-of-view and relatively large aperture. Due to the highly varied nature of astrophotography, we welcome you to give our live-chat/video live-chat a whirl with more details about the kind of shots you're interested in and we can show you all the great options we have available that might suit your needs!

How can I produce vignetting (black corners) with this lens on a nikon z30?
Asked by: aidan
Otherwise, you could DIY a lens shade, or shoot through black screen door fabric with a circle cutout place very close to the lens so it blurs and darken corners (old school).

Will this lens work with Sony a7iii

Will this lens work with Sony a7iii
Asked by: Tanveer
I have this lens with a Sony A7III, and as the B&H Staff person said, there is very heavy vignetting in normal full frame mode. I programmed one of my custom buttons to switch the camera into APSC mode and the vignetting disappears (APSC mode crops the image, so the total number of pixels drops, but the image is very usable). Manually focusing a fish-eye lens is a bit challenging (especially in lower light), but when you get the focus right, the images are great and the fish-eye effect is very striking. The field of view is so wide you have to be careful not to have your fingers in frame as they rest at the edge of the lens! I figured that the very low price was worth the gamble, and I'm happy with my purchase. I don't shoot many fish-eye shots, but it's small, light and cheap enough to throw in my bag for occasional use.
