Are Z lens sharper than F lens?

So far every Z lens has been sharper than its F equivalent. (I've just upgraded my AFS 20mm f1.8 for the Z 20mm and that F lens was very good) I have the 14-30mm which out preforms the legendary 14-24mm F lens. Both of these are now out performed by the new Z 14-24mm!
