Add a powerful, intelligent webcam to your remote, home, or conference room environment that can follow you around the room with the OBSBOT Tiny AI-Powered PTZ Webcam. The OBSBOT Tiny is a compact HD webcam that features remote software control of its pan, tilt, and zoom functions as well as allowing hand gestures for control and auto-tracking using built-in subject recognition. The camera plugs into a host computer and is compatible with a variety of online video platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Facebook, YouTube, and more.
The Tiny can capture up to 1080p30 video and connects to a host computer using its USB Type-C to Type-A cable for power and data transfer. Its software control allows you to pan ±150° and tilt ±45°, both with speeds up to 120°/second. The lens can capture a wide 90° angle of view, and it features autofocus, auto-exposure, and auto white balance to ensure your image is always lit well and in focus. The dual omnidirectional microphones pick up your audio from all angles, and they feature noise cancelling to keep the audio crisp and clean.
The camera can be set to track your position in the room as you move using its built-in "AI" tracking, so you can move around freely and the camera will automatically reframe the subject. In addition to the freely downloadable TinyCam software that allows you to control pan/tilt, select targets, control the 2x digital zoom, and set presets, you can also control the camera using hand gestures. You can use natural gestures to select tracking targets, zoom, and perform a variety of functions without the need to press buttons.
The camera can be mounted onto your laptop, monitor, or table using the included clamp mount, and the camera simply mounts with a magnet without the need for screws. There is also a 1/4"-20 thread on the bottom of the camera, so it can be mounted onto a tripod. A USB Type-C to USB Type-A cable is included to plug the camera into a Windows or macOS host computer.

OBSBOT Tiny Reviews
Excellent value for the price
Ordered two of these units for my last live online event. This is my first experience with auto tracking webcams, They answered my hand signals to zoom in / out, follow my movements or stay put, performing flawlessly. I will be buying additional units to add additional camera angles for my online training platform.
Love this Camera!
Zoom calls are so much more effective with this camera. I also use it for live meetings when I need to walk about with a microphone and the tracking is seamless. I highly recommend it!
Mac Users Beware!
The user manual states (and I quote, broken English and all), 7. Configure Video Adjusting camera parameters, which only supports Windows. I have a Mac, so I can't make any adjustments to the brightness, contrast, white balance, etc., which might have allowed me to fix the quality of the image, which was not true to color, bad skin tone, lacked texture and detail, and looked muddy and washed out, for lack of a better term. See attached images which were shot in a room brightly lit with natural diffused sunlight in the middle of the day and with a ringlight to boot. Compare that with the same shot on a MacBook Pro and an iPhone. I can't imagine what the OBSBOT image is going to look like at night, but I'm about to find out. Anyway, that's the image I'm stuck with, because I can't do anything to fix it, because I'm on a Mac. Seriously? Windows Only in this day and age? I really wanted to like OBSBOT and maybe I got a faulty unit, so I'm going to exchange it and see if that makes a difference, but for nearly $200, the image should at least be decent with lifelike skin tones that don't make me look like a corpse. The hand gestures and tracking are very cool, love the tripod mount, but you buy a webcam first and foremost for the image, so if the image is awful, then the webcam is awful.
A good HD quality webcam with a few twists
I needed to improve over my old 720P webcam. This little PTZ webcam is quite good. It's software makes it easy to configure it properly. The gesture control is a gimmick that I do not use because if you move your hands during a video call, it triggers sometimes the follow or the zoom functions. I prefer to put the control window on my second screen and activate the features as needed. I like that the zoom does not seem to lower the quality of the image by much. The follow feature is not perfect and needs a good illumination to work correctly. If you move too fast, the camera might lose you. A recent firmware upgrade improved a lot the face exposition. Seeing the video output of the camera would be great; unfortunately you need to open a separate video application to setup the camera. The clip used to set the camera on top of your computer screen is not the best system since for a secure fit you need to use a sticker; who wants to affix a sticker on his computer screen? But overall, the value of this webcam is very good considering the price paid.
Tracks faces well, but can't differentiate between faces
I purchased this camera for video calls between my young child (who is too young to sit still and chat) and my parents. I was hoping this camera would track my child as she moves around, allowing the grandparents to watch her as she plays. This camera does an admirably good job of tracking the child unless someone else happen to be sitting within view. If the camera can see another face when my child turns away, there is a good chance the camera will lock onto the other face, and stay locked to that face, even if my child's face returns to the frame.
My back, lets, shoulders and feet are so much less stressed!
Easy transition from standing desk to sitting desk At the end of the day, my back, shoulders, and legs are soooo much less tense because they have the opportunity to do what body parts were meant to do --- move around!!! Because most people are tied to a fixed camera, both sitting desks and standing desks force an unnaturally static posture. With OBSBOT, I can (1) shift weight back/forh to alternate legs, (2) pace slowly while focusing on a shared screen in zoom, (3) back up to sit on my couch or two different chairs, (4) back up to kitchen table (i.e. home office desk) (5) work at whiteboard (with separate camera and OBS Studio) .... all without loosing eye contact with people or the shared screen.
Amazing!
The video and audio quality on this little webcam are incredible. Plus, the setup was unbelievably easy. Highly recommend this product to anyone who is hosting online education events (classes, workforce training, seminars etc.)
I like it so much I bought 2
I was so happy with the first unit I bought another
