Delkin Devices 512GB CFexpress Type B Reviews

One of the best as far as I can tell!

After working with the 20 FPS electronic shutter and 4k 120FPS video on my new Canon EOS R5, I quickly discovered that my 128 GB card wasn't going to be enough for my needs. This new CFE technology seems to be quite new and there are lots of rumors about the performance of different brands, including the potential for some to cause performance problems with the camera. What I have always loved about my Canon dSLRs, during the dozen or so years I used them, was the reliability and durability of them and the associate CF cards. In the mirrorless world, I am not nearly as confident about this as I was before. These machines seem much more computer like than their predecessors and there seems to be more opportunities for problems to crop up. The CF express cards, in general, seem to be too plasticky and not nearly as durable as the old CF cards. We have all heard stories of those old cards going through the laundry cycle and continuing to work for years. This was my primary reasoning for purchasing this card. Despite the sticker shock from the price, the performance, perception of durability and the warranty all give me the peace of mind that this card should work among the best for my needs.

I needed a CFexpress card that had a fast Write Speed and Transfer Speed so that I could maximize the potential and capabilities of my new Nikon Z9 mirrorless camera (120 fps). The Delkin Black gives me over 1700 mb/s for both write and transfer speed. This is outstanding and will allow me to exploit the capabilities of my camera.

Yes, this is. It's a perfect fit for stills, if you're planning on shooting a lot of video, we would recommend moving to the 256GB or 512GB, as 8K video consumes a good amount of data. Thank you!
