This is a great camera for everything but BIF. Love it and B&H shipped it quick in perfect package. Probably the best mirror-less camera for landscape and family. Paired with a 24-120 Nikkor S lens it does it all. It is great as walk around street camera. It hits the limit uploading sample pics here.

After much consideration I pruchased a Nikon Z7 from B&H. The on-line expertise and fast service (delivery) I have running the Z7 through it's paces. As I indicated in the heading of this review, stunning photos, not only with my new Z lens but with all of my F-mount units as well.

Impressively fast and works incredible in low light situations. Great definition and sharpness in photos. The only problem which is not for the camera but for Nikon, is that you should buy this with a card reader, the Nikon transfer app is a shame, it disconnects from the camera in the middle of a transfer, always.

The Z7 came to the market in 2018, I bought it as a backup to my Z6II in Holiday sales event of 2022. For still image, it still outperforms z6II, will definitely use it for a few years. You may want to wait for Z8 or Z7III, for the sales price of z7, it is a no brainer choice.

That $1000 discount is difficult to resist. It might seem like clearing the storage and making way for the newer bodies, but the 1st gen Z6 & Z7 are still very capable of producing amazing pictures in 2023, especially when driven by the 3.50 firmware. The eye-detection works fast and does the job most of the time. The images are natural in color and rich in details. There is simply no greater deal than this.

Can the N-Log & 10-Bit HDMI Output be recorded directly to a computer using Media Express or the Adobe suite's capture software?
If you have a capture card in your computer that can see a 10-Bit signal that should be possible. BH #BLDVQDHDMI4K is the Blackmagic Design DeckLink Quad HDMI Recorder Capture Card and it will accept a signal up to 12-Bit.

How does the battery perform in shooting time ...
How does the battery perform in shooting time lapses? How long or how many shots it can take before another recharge?
I can generally shoot about 800+ Raw images without having to change batteries. The battery lasts much longer than originally thought. I have had no problems when I carry another charged battery with me.

Doe the IR wireless trigger ML-L3 work on Z7? What would be a cost effective wireless trigger solution?
I'm sorry but the MLL3 does not work with the Z7. You can use your smartphone to trigger the camera wirelessly by downloading the Nikon app to your phone.
