High-Speed Wireless Coverage

This Atlas Pro 6 mesh Wi-Fi kit is designed to transfer up to 5400 Mb/s over the 2.4 and 5 GHz frequencies, covering up to 8100 square feet.

Mesh Wi-Fi System

A mesh system unifies your network under a single network ID (SSID) and uses technologies such as MU-MIMO, OFDMA, and beamforming to help maintain smooth wireless connections as you watch streaming videos, play online games, and more while moving from room-to-room. Expand your coverage by adding Linksys Velop mesh compatible devices nodes to the network.

Extensive Wi-Fi Channels

Access to 160 MHz offers the least congested channels on the 5 GHz band. Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) provides access to additional channels, reducing interference from neighboring network signals.

Wired Connections

Three Gigabit Ethernet ports are available for wired devices such as computers, video game consoles, and network storage. Connect the Gigabit WAN port on the router module to compatible cable and DSL modems.

Secure Network

Your wireless signal is secured with WPA 3 and WPA 2 encryption and an integrated SPI firewall helps to protect the network. Additionally, you can set up a guest network login for visitors and manage your family's online time with parental controls.

Fast setup and great coverage

I got the 3 nodes for my house, which is around 2200 sq ft. I do have cameras outside the house and these 3 mesh nodes really helps cover everything inside and outside. The setup was extremely easy and relatively quick. As mentioned above, the coverage is great. My router’s coverage wasn’t that great, unless sitting in the same room with it. I would definitely recommend this product and would purchase again.

This product is exactly what I needed to eliminate poor wifi signal strength throughout my home. I no longer need to have extenders around the house. No more manually switching to a different extender for better signal strength. Great system!

Set-up was a breeze using the app. Great coverage and speeds. Unlike other mesh networks where you get a primary router and satellites, these are all routers that become satellites when you configure them (which is a great value). As a result, you need to “pair” them first with the main node (parent node) first. Then the child nodes became satellites. Things I would suggest: I use Ethernet backhaul, so it would be easier if I could skip the pairing step and just plug them into Ethernet and have them configure that way. Also. - it would be nice if the app told you that the satellites are connected via Ethernet (you have to run sys config to see it at the satellite level). Otherwise great product and customer service was very solid and knowledgeable.

Purchased this product because of the features; however, I could never get it to attach to my wifi. I spend close to two hours on the phone with tech support. After no luck getting it hooked up, they decided it was my service provider's issue. I spoke to the service provider, providing the fixes tech support gave me, and they said they never heard of the fixes. Its going back to the store.

My mesh setup has exceeded expectations. I added 3 child nodes (MX5503) to my current Linksys MR9600 router consisting of 3 MX5500 nodes. My home is single story, about 3,000sq foot layout including a remote shop location. Coverage is excellent. Office and main home speeds are nearly 950mbs and the outlying shop is furthest from the MR9600, still delivering a respectable 375mbs in my shop. The Linksys app is very functional and setup is simple, just be patient as the nodes are activated. Once up and running, the setup has been flawless. I added the nodes to work with my NAS and we can stream HD 4K quality video to any room in the home. Highly recommended. PS, my setup is a 2 Band, I am sure the newest 3 Band is even better.

A quality internet system for the home and beyond

We have only had the new system a short time, but so far it has been working well. I used one of the two secondary “child” nodes to bring WiFi into my shop, about 150 feet away from the house. The Velop mesh system has interfaced exceedingly well with a point to point CPE wireless Ethernet bridge, in large part thanks to the excellent help from Linksys tech support. We now have fast internet at home and in the shop!
