ASUS G15 15.6" Reviews
Exactly as wanted
My girlfriend needed a new laptop and after some research and help from friends, we decided on this one. It came exactly as advertised, it handles all of the gaming she wants as well as the editing software she uses. Although, I admit she hasn't used the editing software much since she got this. The laptop boots up fast, and is pretty quiet.
Absolute Beast
I needed a new computer for work as my 5 year old Samsung Chromebook Pro was on its last leg. Seeing as I've picked up gaming as a hobby over the last couple years, I did a little research and decided to purchase this beautiful machine for work and a little casual gaming on the side. So far its been absolute delight and has absolutely blown my mind. I'll keep it short and sweet. Pros: -Screen is beautiful. -Fans aren't too loud. I can play without headphones just fine, even in Turbo. -Battery life is better than I expected. -Keyboard is great. Keys aren't too loud and don't feel mushy. -Tons of ports which are mostly found on the rear of the laptop. -Stays cool. -Dedicated media buttons. Cons: -No webcam. I didn't realize until after opening it. -RGB software is a little confusing for first timers. -I got the AMD version, so no Thunderbolt that I know of. -Speakers are located on the bottom of the laptop. Not a huge deal, but they sound a little muffled at times. -Mouse is very large. My right palm is constantly clicking and moving the mouse while I'm typing emails/word docs. Overall this is a very solid machine. As my first gaming laptop I am very impressed! Great job Asus!
Faster boot than my old Strix from 2017
So far so good, boots quickly. Only complaint is Windows trying to force Windows 11.
