With a 4.5K (4480 x 2520) screen resolution, this iMac provides over one billion colors and 500 nits of brightness. The Retina 4.5K display also features the wide P3 color gamut, which provides a larger color space that more equally represent red, green, and blue. And with more available colors, the images will appear more vivid and reveal greater detail, with more balance and precision. The display is further enhanced by True Tone technology for a more natural viewing experience.

Connect to the internet via Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and use compatible wireless peripherals and accessories with Bluetooth 5.0. The two Thunderbolt 3 ports provide USB 4 support and can even connect to a single Apple Pro Display XDR in full 6K resolution. There are two additional USB Type-C ports. Apple also included a Full HD 1080p FaceTime HD camera with Apple's latest camera ISP in the M1 chip, enabling sharper images and more details in shadows and highlights in video calls. The studio-quality three-mic array provide high signal-to-noise ratio and directional beamforming for clear recordings and calls. The iMac also features a high-fidelity six-speaker system with force-canceling woofers. Providing wide stereo sound, the iMac also supports spatial audio when playing videos with Dolby Atmos.

This Mac comes preloaded with macOS. Updates can be downloaded for free via the Mac App Store. Please check Apple's website for upgrade eligibility.

Apple M1 Chip
Packed with 16 billion transistors, the Apple M1 integrates the CPU, GPU, Neural Engine, I/O, and more into a single system on a chip (SoC). Built with 5nm process technology, the Apple M1 delivers the performance you need without sacrificing power efficiency. The Apple M1 features four high-performance cores, each designed to run a single task, which allows for multithreaded workloads. There are also four efficiency cores to handle lighter workloads, using only a tenth of the power while still delivering fast performance.
Redesign
The iMac features a redesign with a more compact footprint and a much slicker side profile, measuring just 11.5mm thin.
24" 4.5K Retina Display
The iMac features a 24" Retina Display with 500 nits of brightness. The Retina Display features a 4480 x 2520 resolution at 218 pixels per inch (ppi). It also supports the P3 wide color gamut, which features 25% more colors than the commonly used sRGB gamut, for even more vibrant greens and reds. The display is calibrated at the factory for accurate gamma, white point, and primary colors. The screen features an anti-reflective coating to reduce light glare.
True Tone Technology
With True Tone technology, the display and Touch Bar deliver a more natural viewing experience for design and editing workflows, as well as everyday tasks like browsing the web and writing email.
Magic Keyboard with Touch ID
The color-matched Magic Keyboard features keys for Spotlight, Dictation, Do Not Disturb, and emoji. A Touch ID sensor has been integrated into the Magic Keyboard, so you can quickly log into your account. You can also use it with Apple Pay to securely purchase things over the web.
Thunderbolt 3 with USB4 Support
Thunderbolt 3 is a hardware interface that utilizes the reversible USB Type-C connector. Doubling the speed of its predecessor, Thunderbolt 3 features a maximum throughput of 40 Gb/s when used with compatible devices. The connector also supports USB4, allowing you to connect to more peripherals, including the Apple Pro Display XDR in full 6K resolution.
Full HD 1080p FaceTime HD Camera
The iMac now features a Full HD 1080p FaceTime HD camera, allowing you to host video chats in high quality and provides optimal performance even in low light. The iMac takes advantage of the image signal processor in the M1 chip and the Neural Engine, enhancing camera image quality with better noise reduction, greater dynamic range, and improved auto exposure and white balance. No more grainy video chats for you, you'll be able to connect with friends and family in a high quality FaceTime call. The studio-quality three-mic array also provides clear calls and voice recordings, thanks to its noise reduction and directional beamforming.
Six-Speaker System with Dolby Atmos Support
The iMac has two pairs of force-cancelling woofers placed side by side for an impressive bass response, while reducing unintended vibrations. Each pair is balanced with a high-performance tweeter. The result is a six-speaker sound system that produces a sound stage with strong, articulate bass and clear mids and highs. All of these speaker innovations, coupled with advanced algorithms, enable iMac to support spatial audio when playing video with Dolby Atmos.

Ordered an iMac with 16 GB RAM and a 1 terabyte storage SSD because you cannot upgrade these components later on Apple M1 / M2 machines. The speed and smoothness is incredible. My iMac boots up in about 11 seconds. Opens the Pages - word processing app in 3 seconds. Opens the Numbers - spreadsheet app in 5 seconds. Daily productivity is noticeably improved. Never realized before how much time I was spending each day... just waiting for the computer to finish processing.

I ordered an iMac from Amazon and UPS lost it for a week! B&H had one to me practically overnight via Fedex. I love the machine, my old Mac is 13 years old and doesn't have the horsepower needed to run the photo software I need. Hat's off to B&H for excellent service, fast delivery! I took advantage of their interest free Payboo financing as well, certainly eased the sttrain on my cash flow.

Very easy to set up and use , am very satisfied with it and would recommend it to my friends and family and B&H were great to deal with and the shipping was the fastest I've ever had , ordered it before noon and had it the next day !! Incredible !!

You have understand I am using Mac from Apple 2e. 1. Can not do any upgrade myself. I hated it always. 2. For every upgrade you have to pay whole a lot. I hated it always. 3. No more choices. 4. If you need help, most of the time you will find a person either a novice or an arrogant person.

Wow I been looking for a Imac and Best Buy store and online wasn't finding what I wanted. I went to B&H and they had it less and here in Oregon in two days. Worth buying from them again.

I was using an ancient iMac (over 10 years old) and kept putting off upgrading. When I decided to go with the new iMac I immediately went to B&H. They had the computer I wanted at a price (and benefits with the PayBoo card). The computer arrived on time and it was easy to transfer all of the data from my old iMac. My new iMac integrates seamlessly with my iPad and iPhone. My hobby is bird and wildlife photography and the new iMac runs my photo processing applications quickly. I should have upgraded sooner!
