Apple Airtag Reviews
I Put One In Every Bag
Inexpensive way to help protect my gear. While nothing is 100% perfect, this is an inexpensive way to increase my odds of tracking anything that may suddenly get legs.
These have been great to throw in gear bags. I'm always notified if I leave something behind.
The setup is straightforward with iPhone. Even resetting and changing the tag name is very easy. I only have a few days of use; thus far, they work great.
These work as advertised. Only need a few more options around automations and proximity to other air tags to make them better...i.e. could give the ability to mark my car as a safe place.
AirTags - No surprises....
Purchased an additional 4 pack of air tags since the first ones worked so well. Hard to beat for what they are and hassle free Apple integration. Cheap insurance for not losing $500 key fobs and such. B&H had them in stock when pretty much no one else did. Super easy ordering as usual, arrived quite fast, but delivery signature requirement on a $100 item was a small / insignificant hassle - I just forwarded to local FedEx location while in route.
Inexpensive Insurance To Protect My Gear
There is one in every bag, every keychain, every vehicle. It's a no brainer when it comes to increasing my ability to protect my stuff.
Wonderful for Checked-In Luggage
I put an AirTag in a ziplock bag, then tuck it behind the suitcase's inner liner. Most suitcases' inner liners have a zipper that can open & close. This positions the AirTag right up against the suitcase's outer shell and the signals get through fine. No need for fancy, expensive, and insecure exterior AigTag luggage tags. I just came back from international flights and this setup worked perfectly.
