The 24" long IndiPRO Tools D-Tap to LP-E17 Type Dummy Battery enables powering a camera or other device normally powered by an LP-E17 battery with a D-Tap power source, such as a V-mount or Gold mount battery, for extended runtimes. The dummy battery fits into your camera's or device's battery compartment/slot, and it has a built-in emulator chip that communicates with the camera, providing the necessary information for the camera to accept power from the dummy battery.
