I selected the Urth adapter based on other user reviews commenting on its snug fit and high machine tolerances. Both claims were true. This adapter, when mounted, allows me to use the complete range of my Nikon AI and non-AI lenses. There are some who quibble about the lack of autofocus; a true but trivial issue. My Nikon Z fc automatically shifts to manual focus when this adapter is attached, so there really is no problem here, just remembering you mounted the adapter and lens combination. I intend to purchase other Urth items based on this experience. Yes, there are legions of Chinese made adapters, but none softly speak the word Quality the way the Urth adapter does.
This is a great way to use those old F mount lenses. I have a few with aperture rings, and the Urth adapter gives me the full manual experience with them. It fits snugly and securely on both the camera and the lens. Note that as expected, focal length and aperture will be zero in the EXIF data. All other values will be present. Would have given it 5 stars, if not for the lens release that protrudes from it rather than being flush or nearly so. It takes some force to actuate it, but it's still a small worry in the back of my mind that I'm going to accidentally do so.
