Accsoon CineEye 2 Pro Overview

The Accsoon CineEye 2S Pro allows you to send a 1080p60 camera signal to the included receiver plus up to three mobile devices. This versatile wireless video transmission system provides a cost-effective way of allowing four people on set to monitor an HDMI or SDI camera signal. The transmitter can send signal to a total of four devices simultaneously over distances up to 1200' with only a 60ms delay. You can transmit to any mix of up to four receivers and iOS/Android smartphones and tablets.

The included dedicated receiver, or any additional ones you add into the mix, can be connected to HDMI or SDI displays, so the image can be monitored on a larger screen. To send to a mobile device, all that's required is the free-download companion app to be installed on the device. This same app also allows you to remotely start/stop your camera and adjust aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. Other features of the app include peaking, zebras, false color for exposure, and .cube LUT overlay.

The transmitter and receiver feature a DC power input and also support an L-series battery. Power supplies and batteries are sold separately. If you're planning on a long shoot, you'll only need to take a short break every once in a while in order to replace a battery and be up and running again.

Dual-channel transmission makes the CineEye 2S Pro highly resistant to outside interference and ensures that a strong, high-quality signal will be delivered over the long 1200' distance. The CineEye 2S Pro automatically selects from 20 wireless channels in order to transmit over the one with the least interference. Also, as the transmission distance increases, the transmitter lowers the transmission bitrate to maintain real-time monitoring.

Accsoon CineEye 2 Pro Reviews

When it works??!

Video quality is as advertised - not so much in range. We are using this product in a high school gym - in an empty gym it works fair. When the gym is occupied it works a third of the time - drops video continuously. Try to pass audio and video hardly works at all. Would not recommend this product,

AWESOME!!! Big Bang for the buck !

I am a professional photographer that naturally made the progression to video some years ago. Recently I had the need for a wireless system and started reading and watching reviews. Earlier this year I had purchased the CineEye 2 for remote viewing purposes. I remembered that shortly after the CineEye 2 was released they released the Accsoon CineEye 2 Pro. I thought lets start there. After many hours of reviews, I purchased the Accsoon CineEye 2 Pro. All I can say is AWESOME. It works flawlessly every time. Its extremely easy to use and set up and it just works. I won`t go into all the technical aspects of the units but they are impressive to say the least. If you need a wireless video system then look no further. At this price point you will be hard pressed to find another system that works this well. If you need a system with zero lag time then be prepared to spend a ton of money. This is the biggest bang for the buck around!!!

Good Range, but pass thru is not as stated

The transmitter has good range, but both transmitters Accsoon CineEyes transmitters change signals to FHD at 60p 1080. Not passing the 59.94 1080P signal that is coming in. Forget a switcher that only excepts 1080 59.94P via SDI. Sony MCX500 only has two HDMI inputs. So no 4 camera shoots via wireless. You would have to use a Decimator to change the signal back to 59.94 1080P. I have tried, Blackmagic converters to SDI only convert the signal to SDI, they don't change the Frequency. Just like few monitors I own they convert the pass thru signal to 60p. Fine in the HDMI world, but SDI unless the device can and does except all frequency. Most switchers are looking for 59.94 I or P signals via SDI.

Nice unit but not for critical focus

I'd read several reviews saying folks use this unit for critical focus. There's just too much latency for that. Otherwise, it's a good unit.

Works Great! Minimal Lag

After using this setup on 3 jobs in the last week, I can say it brought a lot of value to the team and clients. It was awesome being able to have focus pulled, view our frame up on a large iPad, and have the client watching in the next room over simultaneously. Only learning curve was figuring out that you need to connect to the Group and not the device when pairing, otherwise one of the best purchases I've made this year.

Oh yea

Worked flawlessly out of the box. Great quality for this price. Haven't tried out the multiple quality/latency modes, but on normal there is about a 3.5 frame delay and subtle compression when compared to straight hdmi. Very happy, perfect for my streaming or directors monitor.

How do I get H.265? I've tried every frame rate over HDMI and quality setting but it's stuck at H.264 (no signal shows H.265 though)
Asked by: Austin
There is no h265 support, as there is no way to select the compression applied to the transmission.

This does support stereo audio via HDMI or SDI. Accsoon says. The quality of audio is meant for monitoring only.
