Sporting the company's classic orange interior color scheme, this K-Tek Stingray Large X is a professional audio bag optimized for use with full-sized audio mixer/recorders including the Sound Devices Scorpio, 788T, 664, and 668, the Zaxcom Nomad, and more.
As the third generation of Stingray bags, the Large X boasts valuable improvements based on insight from demanding sound engineers. From its reinforced internal vertical frame to its large trap door at the bottom and zippered side panels, the Large X is built for strength, stability, and ease of access.
Sharkfins can be attached via solid 3/8"-16 male and 1/4"-20 female threaded attachment points on the frame. You can also connect accessories including antennas, Gizmo pouches, TX/RX units, magic arms, and even phone/tablet holders. The front flap opens for access to the recorder's controls, while color-coded zippers help you quickly locate gear quickly on set. The removable shoulder strap helps you comfortably carry your gear, while the detachable kickstand allows the bag to sit at an angle when placed on a tabletop or on the ground.
Tough yet lightweight, the Stingray Large X bag is ready for use in a wide variety of location recording environments and includes a clear shield and all-weather bag to protect your gear and conceal the contents. It is a perfect companion for the optional K-Tek Stingray Harness.
Three layers of water-repellent polyurethane reinforce the X Bags, which feature a 1680D durable polyester fabric. The bag is meant for productions using full-sized audio mixer/recorders.

Two solid, threaded attachment points are directly tied into the frame structure of the bag, allowing accessories like sharkfin antennas and other accessories to be attached. These two attachment points each feature a 1/4"-20 female and 3/8"-16 male threads.
The premium zippers are color-coded for your convenience. Large side pockets offer plenty of room to store batteries and other accessories. A separate front compartment is protected by a rigid front panel and can be expanded or closed tight. Hook-and-loop pockets close the bottom sides of the front compartment while allowing for cabling access to the exterior of the bag. Various cable pass-through locations and smart storage points prove the versatility of the Stingray Large X bag to various equipment choices and recording environments.
The bag comes with a shoulder strap, a clear shield, and an all-weather protection stealth bag. Also, it is a perfect companion for the K-Tek Waistbelt (available separately).
