SanDisk Professional G-Drive SSD External SSD Reviews
Fast and reliable
So dar (knok on wood) no problems. It works as advertised.
I purchased this for use with a new MacBook Pro and Time Machine. There was no issue. The first iteration of Time Machine for the initial BU of just about 1.15 TB took about an hour, startlingly fast.
Lightroom Editing Live With No Noticeable Lag
Using two SanDisk Pro 2TB G-Drive SSD USB Type-C as an Apple Raid 1 with a new Mac Studio base model. Now all my photos and Lightroom catalog are duplicated as I work. No noticeable lag when editing with Lightroom. Catalog backup is lightning fast compared to my old iMac 2015 Retina Display. Very glad I updated to the Studio and bought these external SSDs. Only negative - for $270 I'd expect Thunderbolt connection rather than USB-C. I'd buy these again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic and very compact drive. Really like how tiny this is so you can travel easily with it. Has a large capacity and super simple to get setup. Even had the cords you need to get started easily. Yup
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this G-Drive about a month and a half ago to expand my storage and it works great! I highly recommend it! I love the SanDisk brand and you will too! I will be buying more of their products and using the G-disk more!
High Performance SSD
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this 1 TB external hard drive for a few weeks now and have been very pleased with its performance. Files are fast to transfer on and off the drive. The feel of the drive is solid and feels like it has great durability. I would recommend this drive to others in the market of a SSD external hard drive.
This Drive is really fast!! but... so hot!!
I just bought this drive. It is incredibly fast. I edit 4k directly on a macbook pro with no problem. The only downside is that it gets too hot, it almost burns when you touch it. Fingers crossed that it doesn't stop working.
Works fine - had the 1 & 2 TB versions previously
Small, light, fast transfers -and the same size as the 1 & 2 TB predecessors!
