SanDisk Professional G-Drive SSD External SSD Reviews
Nice product, easy set up, works fine.
I formatted it to NTFS and hooked it to my Linksys MR8300 router as a network drive. It's been 6 weeks so far, and the reliability is good. I don't have a Thunderbolt port, so I can't comment on speed, I'm after reliability. I've been using Sandisk and WD products for decades and haven't had any problems, so I expect this to be the same.
No directions included. Can't figure out how to use it. I've always had problems working with my iMac. Windows was always easier but kept losing internal hard drives and would corrupt the entire laptop's and stand-alone computers. So, basically, unable to move any files to this new SDD. Not SanDisk fault, more my being without iMac/Mac system knowledge. But better directions would help. One paragraph stating what it does is no what I call directions.
Great little SSDs
These drives are great and the price is right. I can work off them with my cheesy old laptop to review images in the field.
