Does this lens feature linear focus or focus by wire?
Asked by: Jyothi
The Lumix S 50mm f/1.8 uses a focus-by-wire linear focus motor in AF. In MF, while still focus-by-wire, the linear focus ring control for mechanical-based follow focus systems moves the focus at a constant speed in accordance with the rotating angle of the focus ring, allowing more precise MF control.
