Commlite CM-EF-EOSR VND Reviews

It works well with R8

This variable ND adapter works well. For the price of a Canon adapter, with no ND, it's a bargain. In bright situations, I can keep my polarizer on the lens, and darken the ND filters in this adapter as needed. I found that I can also use this adapter in low light settings. Just pull out the variable ND, and it works like a regular adapter. Just be careful of bright light hitting the open hole in the adapter. Or cover it up with your hand. It is well made, but no weather sealing that I can see.

Is their a clear insert fir when an ND is bit needed ?
Asked by: Nathan
The Commlite EF/EF-S to RF mount adapter does not come with a clear-insert filter, and unfortunately it seems we do not carry one that might be purchased separately. We also attempted to slot the Canon OEM clear filter (as well as their CPL and ND filter holders) and they did not fit.
