Will this fit a FX6?
Will this fit a FX6?
An FX6 doesn't have traditional mounting points for a shoulder strap so we would not recommend pairing it with the Peak Design Slide Camera Strap (BH #PESLMN3).

how do you attach to a nikkor 200-500 tripod collar?
There are different ways to attach the Peak Design Slide Camera Strap (Midnight Blue) to a long lens. One is to use the plate in the kit and attach that to the lens collar and then one end of the strap to that and the other end to the side of the camera.

Can this be attached to a Sony FX9 camera?
Can this be attached to a Sony FX9 camera?
The Sony PXW-FX9 XDCAM 6K Full-Frame Camera System's (Body) top handle does have two spots that the Peak Design Slide Camera Strap (Midnight Blue) could mount to, one at the back right side of the handle and one on the front left side, but they are thing and made up of a hard plastic, which may not support the full weight of the camera, so I would not advise using them as a means by which to mount a strap to the camera.

Does this come with black hardware instead of orange ?
I only asked because in their advertisement for the new "blacked out" anchors, they also show the midnight slide strap with black hardware. Looks so much better.... midnight and blacked out ! Oh well. https://www.peakdesign.com/collections/straps/products/anchor-4-pack?variant=39384819269709

Does this come with black hardware instead of orange?
Sort of. The Midnight Blue and Sage Green versions are newly released and come with the tan leather accents/hardware. The original Peak Design Slide in black (https://bhpho.to/3sqqEVH) would have black leather accents instead.

The strap comes with a base plate. What tripod quick release system is it compatible with?
The connecting plate included in the box with Peak Design Slide Camera Strap (Midnight Blue) is not for tripod mount purpose. This connector allow you to attach one side of the strap on the camera base mount 1/4-20 female thread, which allow a more confortable position for shoulders.
If you need a plate which also connects to your tripod you can use the following option:
1- Manfrotto RC2 and Arca-Type Compatible.
Peak Design Dual Plate v2 for Capture Camera Clip BH #PEPLD2 • MFR #PL-D-2

I have a Contax T2, Would this fit it?
I have a Contax T2, Would this fit it?
The Contax T2 35mm Film Camera only has one strap connector, as it is a small point-and-shoot camera. It was not designed for use with neck straps. A better solution for your usage needs would be to purchase either the Peak Design Cuff Camera Wrist Strap (Black), B&H # PECFBL3, or the OP/TECH USA Cam Strap-QD (Black), B&H # OPSCQDB, for your usage needs. If you do wish to use the Peak Design SL-BK-3 Slide Camera Strap (Black), B&H # PESLBK3, you would have to connect the anchor connector for both strap ends onto the same strap connector on the camera. As I do not know if there is enough room on the strap connector for two anchor connectors, and as the camera has been discontinued and is no longer avaialble, you would just have to try it to see if it works; we have no way of testing this without the camera. If it does not work, we do have a 30-Day Return Policy so you may return the strap for an exchange or a refund.
