Image tools include genlock, image mirror/flip, digital noise reduction, auto white balance (AWB), and digital zoom. Genlock, RS-485, power, and audio are handled by the breakout cable, and it lets you connect a mic- or line-level input device. In addition, you can also control the camera via RS-485 serial control protocol.
