Designed with creative professionals in mind, the 16" Creator Z16 Multi-Touch Laptop from MSI is well suited for intensive tasks such as gaming, rendering, editing 8K HDR raw video, working with large 3D models, and more. Driven by an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card, sharp and realistic visuals are produced on a 15.6" 2560 x 1600 IPS touchscreen that is Calman validated, covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, and delivers color accuracy of Delta E<2, so you'll get precise color accuracy for highly detailed photorealistic visuals. Additionally, a refresh rate of 120 Hz helps render smooth motion. 512GB of SSD storage provides fast data transfers, while external peripherals and additional displays may be connected using the two Thunderbolt 4 ports, and mobile data transfers may be accomplished using the built-in UHS-III microSD card reader. To help ensure optimal thermal dissipation, MSI's Cooler Boost Trinity+ uses three fans and five heat pipes to enhance system airflow.

MSI Z16 16" Reviews
Piece of garbage.
Ordered this laptop a week ago. Everyday it is another issue. Freezing up, speakers don't work, won't recognize a card reader, won't turn off, etc, etc. Keyboard is cheap, touch pad is junk. Do yourself a favor and stay away from MSI. I really wish I could sent this thing back to B&H, but guess what - when you open the box you can't return it. I really want to throw this thing in the trash but I guess I am stuck with it since B&H will not take this disaster back. You have been warned. Buy Dell - anything but MSI.
Nice laptop
Nice laptop. Great display, runs Win 11 well.
Absolutely love it, seriously.
Let me be atypical and go over the cons first for someone who loves it just so that you know what is not perfect about it. Nothing is perfect, we have to compromise with some things. I think that you'll find these compromises are worth choosing this laptop. First, the MB is upside down in the case so you'll have to disconnect everything - and there about 15 screws and 11 cords to get right to upgrade your memory. On the upgrade note, there is a factory seal sticker on one screw so that will have to be voided to upgrade anything. If you are like me, you'll have this done few to never, so l let it go. Second, the space bar on the wonderful keyboard is a bit flimsy on the extreme edges new the alt keys so if you are used to hitting it there, and I did not know I was hitting that location until I had the issue. You might have to get used to a different thumb resting place. Third, the laptop is slim which means it gets hot such that the fan is on a lot. Get used to it because it will be on. Well, it never ran during this review, but it often runs. It is like a whisper, but it is there. Fourth, no dedicated HDMI out. I'll get over it. I'm over it. Those are my nit-picky cons, but I said loved it. Here are the pros that I can think about right now. Two 4 USB3.0 ports where two are Type-A and two are also dual channel Thunderbolt/Type-C. This is just enough and they are distributed half on each side to balance your possible use cases. The HD is fast and there is a second SSD port for upgrading. The keyboard has full size arrow keys. For me, this is a must. I just cannot use those half-size arrows. There is no number pad and just like the missing DVD on laptops these days, you will not miss it. If you need a numpad, get a bluetooth one just like we can get a USB DVD if we need it. There is a superfast micro-SD card reader. Yes, it could be a normal size one; but eah, it works and it is fast. Sound is the best I ever had on a laptop. The screen is beautiful (also the best laptop display I ever had). It is the perfect pixel density. It is high but not so high that you might struggle to read things. I had a 16-inch 4k before and it is just too much that that size. The color gamut is great and the brightness is also great. I find it holds color at many angles. I have had many laptops that are fine only one angle. The reported nits is said to be mediocre but I find I turn it down to 50% most of the time anyway (right now it is at 25%). The GPU is fast and should extend the life of the laptop since it is the latest RTX gen. The all metal alloy case is a nice touch and probably helps with heat sync. (All is in quotes because there is frame around the base that is plastic.) It has a 90 WH battery that mine reports as 86 WH and 90 is the max for air travel as I understand it. I took a pass and many 45WH options. The bundled software can be useful too, there is a battery life extension option that I use that keeps the battery at 60% since I am mostly plugged into the wall. If I choose to travel then I can turn this feature off for 100% for a short time. The 8-core processor is great too. This is a light desktop replacement. There are some that might down grade the track pad for its size. While I would like it a touch larger, it is not necessary. I find I use it more than any other Windows laptop I have ever had. This is because it is accurate like a Mac. I find that even with the same size, I can traverse the screen in one fast pass or two slow passes. This is probably Windows acceleration controls, but it works. It is smooth. The smaller size also means I do not turn it off to prevent false clicks because I am not bumping it ever. It is a great and handsome laptop. If you are wondering if you'll like it then you can just stop and purchase. That is, if those few cons are not showstoppers for you.
