What's the process to configure for RAID 10 and get the best 4-disk config scenario? Easy, hard and is there step-by-step instructions to migrate? Just curious how good tech support is? Ready to step up? This is the best config scenario for 4 disks for a total of half the capacity but true redundancy (1+0)? Please respond! Want robustness & speed!
Asked by: Larry
The unit doesn't come with instructions on how to reconfigure the drives. I couldn't find the manual on the website. I contacted support and they asked me for a photo of the serial number and some other info. All I asked for was the manual. The drive is working great though, and it is pre-formatted for MAC so I didn't have to change a thing.

Are G-RAID drives proprietary? I see they all have some kind of "frame" around the drive itself...can I use any drive, or do I need to buy a proprietary one with that frame already installed? Thanks!
Asked by: Aaron
G-Raid drives are not proprietary, and the G-RAID Shuttle 4 can take any standard 3.5" SATA drives.
